Press office

From 2015 to 2018 I worked as Press officer for the Spanish National Center for Biotechnology of CSIC.

At this position I was responsible for press relations. I worked to increase the institute’s presence in the media and establish a fluid and fruitful dialogue with a broad range of journalists from generalist and specialised media.

Some of my abilities as media specialist are:

• Drafting and dissemination of press releases.
• Production of press packs.
• Organisation of press visits.
• Management of journalists requests.
• Attendance to national and international networks, forums and congresses as a delegate and media contact for the organization.
• Monitoring the presence in the media.
• Promotion of collaborations with written and audiovisual media.
